Terms of use
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Inventrix website, award-search experience, and related beta product features. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.
Effective date: April 3, 2026
1. Beta service status
Inventrix is an early-stage beta product provided for evaluation, research support, workflow experimentation, and internal review purposes. Features, interfaces, availability, and outputs may change at any time without notice.
Because the service is in beta, performance is not guaranteed, uninterrupted access is not guaranteed, and successful proposal, grant, or funding outcomes are not guaranteed. Use of the service is at your own discretion and risk.
2. No funding or submission guarantee
Inventrix does not guarantee that any concept note, draft, compliance review, similarity result, or workflow output will lead to funding, improve review outcomes, or satisfy the requirements of any sponsor, institution, or program officer.
All outputs are advisory and informational only. Final responsibility for framing, interpretation, eligibility, compliance, and submission readiness remains solely with the user and, where applicable, the user’s institution.
3. Permitted use
You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law, institutional policy, sponsor requirements, and these terms. You may not use the service to interfere with platform operations, probe infrastructure, bypass technical restrictions, or access data or systems without authorization.
You are responsible for the content you submit, the way you interpret or act on outputs, and any external consequences resulting from your use of the service.
4. Outputs, models, and reliability
Inventrix may present search results, summaries, generated text, evaluations, rankings, suggestions, or compliance-related flags. Such outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, stale, biased, or unsuitable for a particular use case.
Model-generated or retrieval-based outputs must be independently reviewed before use in any operational, legal, institutional, or submission context. You should not rely on the service as a substitute for sponsor guidance, institutional review, or professional judgment.
5. Availability and changes
Inventrix may suspend, modify, limit, or discontinue any portion of the service at any time, with or without notice. This includes search features, integrations, workflow tools, output formats, query limits, and access controls.
We may also update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability.
Without limiting the foregoing, Inventrix does not warrant that the service will be secure, error-free, uninterrupted, or that any output will be accurate, complete, sponsor-compliant, or suitable for funding decisions or submission use.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Inventrix and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, funding opportunities, business, goodwill, or reputation arising out of or related to use of the service.
If liability is found notwithstanding the foregoing, total liability arising out of or relating to the service shall be limited to the minimum amount required by applicable law.
8. Contact and interpretation
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Questions about these terms or use of the beta product may be directed through the project’s published contact channels when available.
